With the win, the defending champion Mustangs (14-8-1) advance to the ECAC semifinals for the third time in as many seasons while moving one win closer to the school record of 15 set in 2006, 2009 and 2012.

Siejack scored her team-leading 15th of the season off an assist from senior Catherine Madden on a cross from the right side.

Alvernia (11-8-2) threatened to tie the game with less than two minutes remaining when sophomore Keeper Alicia Greene (Baltimore Bays) totaled both of her two saves in the game just four seconds apart on point blank shots by Bridget Verdel and Katelyn Gill in the box. Greene, after the season will join the Baltimore Bays Chelsea coaching staff assisting Head Coach Ron Bowen with the U10 Girls Xplosion and the U11 Girls Comets.
