Bays Chelsea U15 Welcome Back Jim Fendryk
September 2013- Coming back to his roots, former Baltimore Bays player, Calvert Hall soccer alumni, and current John Carroll varsity soccer head coach, Jim Fendryk reunites with the Bays as Co-Head Coach for the Chelsea U15 team. Joined by Coach Frank Assaro, Fendryk will help lead the menís team into itís next successful season. There is no doubt that this combination will steer the Bays as they return to success in the Region 1 Premier, Maryland State Cup, and EDP leagues this spring.
Baltimore Bays Chelsea U15 Return to Defend 2013 MD State Cup Title
Fall 2013- The Baltimore Bays are back and looking forward to defending their Maryland State Cup title in the Spring 2014 season. The victors represented their state in Rhode Island at the Region 1 Championship tournament after a massive 8 week instant elimination playoff that ended in a 2-1 win for the Bays over former Region 1 Champions, Bethesda Blue. Overcoming hurdles has become routine for the Bays and as starting defensive back, Matt Breidstein, stated "It has made us stronger."
Bays Chelsea U15 Goalie Starts Varsity
Fall 2013- Conquering challenges is nothing new for Bays Chelsea U15 goalie veteran, Elton Schwartz. Returning from a serious knee injury in early 2012, Schwartz defended the box during the 2012-13 season and secured wins for the Bays. Now, Schwartz aims to bring victory for Archbishop Curley as starting varsity goalie for the Friars. At the conclusion of the fall high school season, Schwartz will once again join the Bays in another quest, this time as State Cup Champion.
